New Océ TDS450 Large Format Print System Boosts Workflow Productivity for Workgroup Environments

Offered as a printer, copier or multifunction system, the robust Océ TDS450 is ideally suited for walk up print/copy environments and as a workgroup solution for businesses (such as AEC firms) looking to upgrade the quality, productivity and reliability of their technical document workflow. Its flexible design, intuitive user panel and automated functions make the new system user-friendly and time-efficient.
A new high quality monochrome scanner is available with optional full color scanning capability, making both monochrome and color scanning available in one easy-to-use system. Capturing and distributing color mark-ups and red lined drawings are now as simple as scanning monochrome documents with optimum results the first time thanks to patented Océ Image Logic® image enhancement technology.

The Océ TDS450 easily captures this information either for immediate printing, for electronic distribution to engineers, designers, contractors or vendors, or for archiving. With the flexibility to scan in color and monochrome with one scanner, the Océ TDS450 provides a single platform that streamlines communication within an organization or across multiple sites saving hours or even days in the drawing distribution and review process. Additionally, whatever the condition of the original drawing, Océ Image Logic technology ensures that appropriate detail is retained and background noise is removed at the touch of a button – leaving crisp, clean drawings. With 10 scan-to-file destination options, drawings can be scanned and distributed to the desired destination from the scanner control panel in just one step.

The Océ TDS450 includes the innovative Océ Power Logic® controller, ensuring rapid processing of large files and concurrent scanning, copying and printing – thus minimizing queue length and employee downtime. Repetitive tasks are eliminated since the Océ TDS450 queue manager enables the reprinting of copy and print jobs as well as the prioritization of jobs. Additional time-saving features include the company’s patented Radiant Fusing technology within the print engine of the Océ TDS450.
